It’s the fall semester and recruits are taking their official visits and committing to their chosen schools, so naturally there’s a lot to catch up on. Let’s get right to it:
Jaedon LeDee, 6’7 PF, Class of 2018
LeDee held down the No. 1 spot in the Texas Top 100 class of 2018 rankings during his freshman year and remained in the top-10 for the remainder of his high school career. The small forward/power forward hybrid announced today his decision to commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Kyler Edwards, 6’5 SG, Class of 2018
There’s a saying that goes, “never choose between two.” Edwards took that to heart, as he considered 20 different scholarship offers and ultimately gave his commitment to Coach Chris Beard and Texas Tech. A very impressive get for the Red Raiders, Edwards is rated three stars by Rivals and ranked No. 9 in our 2018 rankings.
Kevin McCullar, 6’5 PG, Class of 2019
Speaking of Texas Tech, McCullar just visited the university out in Lubbock and spoke highly of it. McCullar told Texas Top 100 he toured the arena and athletic facilities, watched the team practice and met the players and coaching staff, and met with the chancellor of the university. He also met with Tech football coach Kliff Kingsbury and watched the Red Raiders defeat Arizona State. McCullar is going to be a prize catch for whichever university he chooses.
