If you’re like me, you’re taking it easy this Saturday night. Why not get a quick update on some of the state’s rising talent?
Chris Harris, 2019 6’4 SG, South Garland
The dynamic combo guard remains the at the top of many coaches’ lists, and the race is still wide open for the South Garland prospect. Harris already has offers from SMU, Oklahoma State , Purdue , Arkansas , Memphis and North Texas, and he’s only entering his junior season. He has a visit set up with Oklahoma State on September 23, his only visit so far this fall.
Morris Udeze, 2018 6’8 PF, Montverde Academy
Udeze recently cut his list down to the following 10 schools: LSU, Ohio State, Wichita State, Butler, TCU, Iowa State, Florida Gulf Coast and New Orleans. The talented 6’8 big man is scheduled to visit Butler next weekend.
Chris Mullins, 2018 6’4 SG, Mansfield Timberview
Mullins picked up quite a few offers this summer: Rice, Sam Houston State, SFA, Denver and Air Force to go with his Central Michigan offer he earned last fall. Penn, UT-Arlington and Texas State have all shown interest but haven’t extended an offer to the Mansfield Timberview guard yet. Mullins will visit Rice on August 31 and Sam Houston State on September 21.
